Kelsey Grammer, the star of the hit show Frasier, recently discussed the possibility of a second season for the revival. In an interview with Deadline, the five-time Emmy winner shared his thoughts on where the show could go next.

New Ideas Being Explored

According to Grammer, the show's creators have been "kicking around some ideas" for the future of Frasier. He mentioned that these ideas mostly revolve around Frasier finding happiness, becoming a good father, and having breakthroughs at college. Could Frasier become an important figure in someone's life as a professor? Only time will tell.

Grammer also acknowledged that Frasier's knack for getting into trouble will continue in the new season. He expressed confidence in the talented writers coming up with fresh ideas and emphasized that the process is a collaborative effort.

The New Series

The Frasier revival, which streams on Paramount+, follows the next chapter of Frasier Crane's life as he returns to Boston. The official description promises new challenges, relationships, and the fulfillment of old dreams. Frasier is back, and fans are eager to see what's in store.

The cast includes Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier's son Freddy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as his old college buddy turned university professor Alan, Toks Olagundoye as Alan's colleague Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Freddy's roommate Eve, and Anders Keith as Frasier's nephew David.

The show is created by writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who have worked on popular series like How I Met Your Mother and Life in Pieces. They serve as executive producers alongside Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo, and Jordan McMahon. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Grammer's production company, Grammnet NH Productions.

Legendary Director's Involvement

The first two episodes of the revival are directed by James Burrows, a legendary director and television creator. Burrows is best known for his work on Cheers, Frasier, Will & Grace, and Dear John. His involvement adds an exciting element to the show and raises expectations among fans.

The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of the Paramount+ markets.
