The Story of Park's Marriage Contract follows Park Yeon-Woo (played by Lee Se-Young) from the Joseon era. On her wedding day, tragedy strikes when her husband Kang Tae-Ha (Bae in-Hyuk) dies of a heart condition. But that's not the end of her story.
As Yeon-Woo drowns in a well, a time travel portal opens, and she wakes up in the 21st century. And to her surprise, the person who saves her looks exactly like her late husband.
