Reynolds Reacts to Swift's Involvement

After receiving the prestigious Order of British Columbia, Ryan Reynolds, the star of Deadpool, spoke out about the recent Taylor Swift MCU rumors surrounding the highly-anticipated third installment. In an interview with Vancouver Sun, Reynolds neither confirmed nor denied Swift's involvement, but expressed his excitement about the attention his first MCU movie has been receiving.

Reynolds Teases Deadpool 3 Secrets

Reynolds addressed the gossip surrounding Deadpool 3, saying, "Yeah, I've heard that one. I love it (the gossip). I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26."

Production Resumes in London

Following the end of the Hollywood strikes, production on Deadpool 3 has finally resumed in London. Reynolds revealed that London wasn't his first choice for filming and that he had "fought like hell" to convince Marvel Studios to shoot the R-rated superhero movie in Canada. However, he acknowledged the studio's infrastructure and the need to fall in line, even though he misses home.

Star-Studded Cast

Deadpool 3 will reunite Ryan Reynolds with filmmaker Shawn Levy, who will be directing the long-awaited project. The movie will also feature the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Jennifer Garner as Elektra, as the two actors come out of superhero retirement to reprise their iconic Marvel roles. The film will also include the return of other familiar faces, such as Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. Additionally, Deadpool 3 will introduce new Marvel newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.

A Stellar Creative Team

The script for Deadpool 3 is written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells, with a previous draft by the Molyneux sisters (Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin). The movie is produced by Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, and Kevin Feige, who has assured fans that Deadpool 3 will be Marvel Studios' first official R-rated movie.
