Two More Women Step Forward
Just days after settling a sexual assault lawsuit filed by singer and model Cassie, Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing even more legal trouble. Two additional women have come forward, one accusing him of rape and the other alleging sex trafficking, revenge porn, and other disturbing claims.
Claims from the Early 1990s
The lawsuits, filed under New York's Adult Survivors Act, pertain to incidents that allegedly took place in the early 1990s. Joi Dickerson-Neal claims that Diddy assaulted and battered her, inflicted emotional distress, engaged in sex trafficking, and created and distributed revenge porn. She alleges that while she was studying at Syracuse University, she went on a date with Diddy, during which he drugged her, took her to a different location, and sexually assaulted her while secretly filming the act. Dickerson-Neal states that a male friend informed her that he and others had seen the footage.
Following the incident, Dickerson-Neal says she suffered severe depression and suicidal thoughts. The lawsuit also names Bad Boy Entertainment and Combs Entertainment LLC as defendants.
Another Troubling Account
The second lawsuit involves an unidentified woman referred to as "Jane Doe." She implicates singer Aaron Hall and several other defendants, claiming that after attending an MCA event with Diddy and Hall, she was coerced into having sex with Diddy before Hall forced himself into the room and raped her. Jane Doe also alleges that in another room, the two men forced her friend to engage in sexual acts with them.
The lawsuit further states that two days after the assault, Diddy visited the residence where Jane Doe and the other women were staying and choked Doe until she lost consciousness because he was worried that "the girl he was with at the time" would find out about the alleged incident.
Diddy's Response
A spokesperson for Diddy has called the claims "fabricated" and a "money grab," stating that they falsely allege misconduct from over 30 years ago. The spokesperson asserts that Diddy is an easy target for anonymous accusers who lie for financial gain. They also question the timing of the lawsuits, suggesting that they were filed at the last minute to exploit the Adult Survivors Act.
What do you think? Do these new allegations carry weight in light of Diddy's recent settlement with Cassie?
